backPizzaHere is a thick crust pizza I made. Toppings include ham, mushrooms, olives and artichoke hearts.For the doughI usually like to experiment a bit for making the dough. Oftentimes I use a bit of leftover starter dough from when I make baguettes. Of course all it consists of is white bread flour, fresh yeast, a little sea-salt and water. Sometimes if I have a bit of starter left over I leave it in the fridge for a day or two and then use it for the pizza dough. The bulk of the pizza dough is just flour and water though, I can add more of the starter if I want the crust to rise more, or less if I want to make a thin-crust pizza. |
